Our first responders are used to handling some pretty tough situations, but put a few puppies and kittens in front of them, and things get a little softer.

Last week, members of Keller Police and Keller Fire Rescue stopped by the Humane Society of North Texas at our Regional Animal Services facility for some time with their four-legged friends. Now, you can meet some of those furry faces, too!

Free pet adoptions are happening this Saturday during the Keller Police Open House, thanks to Worth Credit Union, which is sponsoring all adoptions!

Saturday, Oct. 17 | 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Keller Police Department
330 Rufe Snow Drive

Parking will be available at Bear Creek Intermediate.

Come tour the department, watch demonstrations, meet our officers, enjoy a free lunch and check out the adoptable pets looking for their forever homes. You might come for the open house and leave with a new best friend!

Here is the schedule for this Saturday, October 17th.

What a night for National Night Out in Keller!

Our Keller Police and Keller Fire-Rescue teams made the rounds across Keller tonight, and we had a pretty great time doing it.

We brought out the trucks and equipment, shared plenty of snacks, hung out with some of our youngest residents, caught up with familiar faces and met plenty of new ones. Most importantly, we got to spend some time talking with the people we serve when there wasn't an emergency involved.

That's really what National Night Out is all about. Getting into our neighborhoods, getting to know each other and building those relationships that matter long before anyone needs to call 911.

A huge thank you to every neighborhood, HOA, family and resident who welcomed us tonight. You invited us into your neighborhoods, and we were happy to come hang out!

We took A LOT of pictures along the way. See if you can spot your neighborhood!
And now, it's your turn to come visit us.

Keller Police Open House
Saturday, Oct. 17
10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Keller Police Department, 330 Rufe Snow Dr.

Come tour your police department, meet the KPD team, check out our equipment and demonstrations, and spend some time with us.

You invited us to you. Now it's your turn to come see us!

We'll see you Oct. 17!
