💚🍵 WE LOVE YOU SO MATCHA!🍵💚

Today, our 2nd grade team surprised the BEST dyslexia teacher for World Dyslexia Awareness Day, and we couldn’t think of a sweeter way to show her how much she means to us! 🥹💚

From our matcha made in heaven to reminding her that she helps us a LATTE, this little surprise was brewed with so much love! ☕️💚

We are so thankful for the heart, dedication, and love she pours into our students every single day. Thank you for helping our students grow, believe in themselves, and shine in their own unique ways! ✨

Because at Shady Grove, we know that different ways of learning lead to amazing things!💚⭐

🚪✨ Behind the Classroom Doors: 4th Grade Edition! 🧈

What’s happening Behind the Classroom Doors at Shady Grove? Today, our 4th graders took learning outside the classroom for a hands-on science experiment—making their own butter! 🧈☀️Who knew science could be so delicious?!

Students shook, observed, and investigated as cream transformed into butter right before their eyes. They experienced firsthand how solutions and mixtures can cause changes to matter—and discovered that sometimes science takes a little muscle! 💪🔬

🌟 And there was even more fun outside today!

As a special reward for being SHINING STARS, Ms. Padron’s class earned the opportunity to enjoy their independent reading time outside! 📖☀️
There’s nothing better than a good book, some fresh air, and celebrating students for making great choices! ⭐️

Just another peek at the learning—and fun—happening Behind the Classroom Doors! ❤️

⭐ Your fundraising dollars at work!

Thanks to the support of our Shady Grove families last year, a new Gaga Ball Pit is coming and our digital marquee is getting repaired! 🎉

And that’s just part of what PTA fundraising supports throughout the year.

More opportunities to support our Stars are coming soon, including the Apex Fun Run, and our 2026–27 sponsorship program is now open!

💙💛 You fund it. Our Stars benefit.
