Caprock Elementary PTA's Mission is: To make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. • To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community and place of worship;
• To raise the standards of home life;
• To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth;
• To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth;

We still need families to host trunks! Sign up to decorate your trunk and help make this a fun night for our Gators! 👻 Admission is just $1 per child (cash only).

Our Trunk or Treat is coming up, and we need MORE trunks to make this event a huge success for our school and the community! We currently have only 12 participants signed up, and we would LOVE to see that number grow!

🍬 Anyone can host a trunk! You don’t have to be a Caprock parent to participate. Families, friends, local businesses, churches, and community organizations are all welcome!

🏢 Are you a local business? Partner with us! This is a great opportunity to connect with local families, support our school, and give back to the community.

Every trunk helps make this event more fun, memorable, and beneficial for everyone. Let’s come together to make this Trunk or Treat one to remember!

🍬 We’re still collecting candy! 🍬

We’re looking for candy donations for our upcoming Homecoming Parade and Trunk or Treat! Donations are due by October 23rd.

And there’s still plenty to play for! Our class competition is still going, with the winning class earning a PIZZA PARTY! 🍕 Plus, we have 3 individual prizes up for grabs:

🎨 Art Club
🍽️ Lunch with Mr. Alvarez

Every bag of candy helps make these events extra special for our Gators. Thank you for helping us make it a sweet one!

⭐ Let’s show Principal Alvarez some Caprock love! 🐊💚

October is National Principals Month, and the Keller ISD Education Foundation is searching for Keller ISD’s Favorite Principal!

We already know how lucky we are to have Principal Alvarez leading our Gators—now let’s make sure everyone else knows it too! 🙌

🐊 Caprock families, students, teachers, and community members can ALL nominate him! It only takes a few minutes to submit a nomination.

🌟 What a wonderful Hispanic Heritage Night at Caprock! 🌟

We loved celebrating alongside our Caprock families and experiencing the beautiful music, dancing, food, and traditions that made the evening so special. 💃🎶

Thanks to YOUR generous giving during our PTA fundraiser, Caprock PTA was proud to fund the Ballet Folklórico dancers who performed tonight! We love seeing your donations come to life through experiences that bring our school community together. ❤️

And remember—there’s always room for YOU in PTA! We welcome volunteers of every culture, background, and heritage. Our differences make our Caprock community even stronger! 🐊

¡Qué maravillosa Noche de la Herencia Hispana vivimos en Caprock! 🌟

The race for King & Queen is almost over!

THIS FRIDAY is the LAST DAY to bring in candy for a chance to be crowned Caprock Homecoming Royalty and ride on the Homecoming Float! 👑🐊

🍭 Want a chance at the crown?
Bring your candy donations by Friday morning! Each donation earns a chance in the drawing, and our King & Queen will be crowned at lunch!

But don’t stop bringing the candy! 🍬
Our candy collection continues NEXT WEEK for the classroom competition!

🌮 NACHO BAR LUNCH FOR OUR AMAZING CAPROCK STAFF! 🌮

Our teachers and staff are busy preparing for Hispanic Heritage Night, so we want to take one thing off their plates and treat them to a delicious Nacho Bar Lunch! ❤️

We’d love your help making this luncheon extra special for our hardworking Caprock staff!

📅 Thursday, October 1st
⏰ All items must be dropped off by 9:30 AM
🌮 Please have all food prepared, heated, and ready to serve.

💳 Walmart gift cards are always welcome to help us fill in any gaps.

Caprock Gators, our Candy Monster is HUNGRY! We’re collecting candy for Trunk or Treat AND the Homecoming Parade, and we need your help filling him up!

🍭 How it works:
Bring brand-new, individually wrapped candy to school now through October 8. Make sure your bag is labeled with your student’s name + teacher’s name.

🎟️ Every 10 oz. of candy donated = 1 entry to win!
Students can win prizes including:
🎨 November Art Club
⭐ Lunch with Principal Alvarez
👕 A Caprock T-shirt

👑 BONUS: Homecoming Royalty!
Students who donate by October 2 will also be entered for a chance to be selected as Homecoming King/Queen (3rd–4th) or Prince/Princess (Pre-K–2nd)!

The wait is over! Spirit wear orders have officially arrived and will be coming home with students TOMORROW! 🎉

So yes… you may actually want to check the backpack tomorrow instead of discovering it three weeks from now. 😂

A HUGE thank you to everyone who ordered and supported Caprock Elementary! We had so much fun putting this collection together, and we hope you love your new Gator gear as much as we do! 💚💙🩷
