Open enrollment Day 15, and we are going strong! We are so thankful to have Rhonda Narron joining us today to assist Medicare beneficiaries with reviewing their coverage options. Meanwhile, Jennifer Moore was outside supporting our community by helping residents safely shred documents during our shred event.

Together, our team, near and far, continues to make a difference in the lives of those we serve and throughout our community.

Medicare Open Enrollment continues through December 7, 2026. Now is the time to review your Medicare Prescription Drug Plan and Medicare Advantage Plan to ensure your coverage meets your needs.

⚠️ POWER OUTAGE ALERT ⚠️

Tri-County EMC is currently experiencing a power outage affecting 5,471 members in several areas of our service territory.

Areas affected include members that receive power from the following substations:
📍 Friendship
📍 Kornegay
📍 Tapp Farm
📍 Pink Hill
📍 Albertson
📍 Beulaville

Duke Energy is experiencing a transmission outage caused by a tree on a power line. We understand the inconvenience an unexpected outage can cause and appreciate your patience as crews work to resolve the issue.

Breast cancer awareness was the name of the game today. 🎀

Eve Stroud with ECU Health Duplin Hospital joined our seniors for a special breast cancer awareness bingo game filled with learning, laughter and prizes. Participants picked up important reminders about breast health, screenings and early detection, all while enjoying a little friendly competition. Who says education can’t be fun?
