Join us November 11th at 4:30 PM for a viewing of Black Hawk Down and a discussion with the author, Mark Bowden. We will remain closed for normal business but will be open specifically for the American Legion to host this event. Registration is required, and guests are encouraged to bring a donation of non-perishable food items for the Lincoln’s Promise Pantry. Register on our website!

Halloween is AMONG US (sorry, had to do it), and we've got costumes! Stop by October 15th from 4:30-6 PM to pick out a FREE Halloween costume and get in the spooky spirit! 🎃✨

Costumes vary based on donations, so stop by and see what you can find!

To our friends at Academy of Natural Sciences: the GLAM (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, and Museums) community stands with you. ❤️

For 200 years, the Academy’s Museum invited Philadelphia to wonder at the natural world. Its closure is a real loss for the city, for science education, and for everyone who built and cared for those galleries.

This institution created magic for many of our employees. From late nights under the dinosaurs to functioning as a second home, thank you to those who worked to make the Academy’s museum somewhere special.

We mourn what we've lost and hope for better: a future where the Academy’s public mission returns and where institutions like it are protected rather than lost.

Thank you to the friends in GLAM who continue to carry the torch for education and imagination. ❤️

Our Halloween Costume Handoff is next week! Join us Thursday the 15th from 4:30-6 PM to find a gently used costume (selection will vary based on what's been donated). We are still accepting costumes and are in need of infant/newborn costumes. Be sure to pop by and see what you can find! 🎃✨
