As we approach the Delta Fair week (September 29th-October 3rd, 2026), The Kennett Police Department wants to remind everyone to have fun but also to be safe and aware of your surroundings.

September 29th the 2026 Delta Fair Parade will start at 5:30pm and will be going from The Kennett High School, it will then travel from the North Bypass to Saint Francis and will end at Semo College on First Street. The Kennett Police Department will begin to shut this section of roadway down around 5pm. We ask that during this time you drive with extreme caution in these areas and do not drive around the barricaded areas.

The Kennett Police Department will have extra manpower at the Delta Fairgrounds as well as the surrounding area, the Police Department urges everyone to use extra caution driving around the Delta fairgrounds due to the increase in pedestrian traffic, some other important reminders, please remember to lock your vehicles while attending the Delta Fair and remove all valuables from your vehicle. One of the most dealt with issues at the Delta Fair, is parents losing sight of their child, please before entering the fair take a current photo of your children in case you need help locating your child, in the event you need assistance from an officer please make contact with one of the many officers that will be located on the fairgrounds itself or by calling 573-888-2409. Any disruptive behavior or unruly conduct will be dealt with swiftly and you will be escorted from the fairgrounds.

DURING FAIR HOURS YOU WILL ENTER ON 5TH STREET FROM THE SOUTH BYPASS AND EXIT ON FIRST STREET FROM AIRPORT ROAD. THIS WILL BE ONE WAY ONLY

If you see or notice anything suspicious while attending the 2026 Delta Fair, please contact an officer or call 573-888-2409 or dial 911 in an emergency.
