We are proud to announce our Annual Shop with a Hero Fundraiser Event, taking place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Indian Park.

Each year, this event serves as one of our primary fundraising efforts to support our Shop with a Hero Program, which allows local hero's to partner with children in our community and help provide Christmas gifts for families who may need extra assistance during the holiday season. Our mission is simple — ensuring local children experience the joy and excitement that Christmas brings.

This year’s event will feature a full day of community activities for all ages, including:
• 5K Run / Walk
Instructions at 7:30am, starts at 8:00am
• Co****le Tournament
Starts at 10:00 am
• Kids Co****le Competition
• Halloween Costume Contest
Starts 1:00 pm
• Bouncy Houses
• Face Painting
• Wi******er 5XP 12GA Pump Sh***un Raffle

• Food and Concessions Available Throughout the Event

This event is more than a fundraiser — it is an opportunity for our community to come together, support local children, and make a direct impact on families right here in our area. Every dollar raised helps us continue building positive relationships within our community while providing children with a memorable Christmas experience.
We encourage everyone to come out, participate, and help support a program that makes a difference in the lives of children throughout our community.

🚨📚 Dunklin County E911 Visits Kennett South School for Progressive Safety Day! 📚🚨

Dunklin County E911 was proud to participate in Progressive Safety Day at Kennett South School, where we had the opportunity to educate 265 local students about home alone safety and the importance of knowing what to do in an emergency! 🏡📞

Teaching our youth about when and how to call 911, recognizing emergencies, and staying safe when home alone is an important part of preparing the next generation to handle unexpected situations.

Emergencies can happen at any time, and equipping children with the knowledge and confidence to respond appropriately can make a difference when seconds count. By investing in safety education today, we help build a safer, more prepared community for tomorrow! ❤️💙

265 students reached. One community. A safer tomorrow. 🚔🚒🚑📞

Dunklin County Sheriff’s Office Receives Blue Shield Grant for the Second Consecutive Year!

I’m proud to announce that the Dunklin County Sheriff’s Office has been selected as a recipient of the Blue Shield Grant for the second consecutive year, as part of Governor Mike Kehoe’s efforts to support law enforcement agencies across Missouri.

Following a serious incident earlier this year in a neighboring county, I made the decision to use this year’s grant funding to invest in additional protective equipment for our deputies.

Through this grant, we have purchased ballistic helmets, rifle-rated ballistic vests, breaching tools, and tactical medical bags for our deputies. Some of the equipment, including the breaching tool sets and several rifle-rated vests, remains on back order and will be received once it becomes available.

This is equipment I sincerely hope our deputies will never have to use. However, if the day comes when they need it, I want to ensure they have the proper tools and protection to help keep themselves, their fellow officers, and the citizens they serve safe.

Our deputies put themselves on the line every day to protect the citizens of Dunklin County and our surrounding communities. Making sure they have the equipment and resources necessary to perform their duties safely is a responsibility I take seriously.

Our mission is simple: Protect Those Who Protect Us.

I’m grateful for this grant opportunity and for the continued efforts to provide Missouri law enforcement agencies with the resources needed to serve and protect their communities.
