Cool Art and Quiet Crafts: Dunklin County Library Joins 'Fall Into Arts'

As autumn approaches, the Dunklin County Library in Kennett is preparing to serve as a hub of creativity, heritage, and comfort during this year’s Fall Into Arts event. Scheduled for Saturday, September 12, the library will open its doors from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., welcoming visitors to explore a diverse mix of local craft and literary history.

This year’s showcase features intricate handcrafted quilts, detailed knitted and crocheted items, and an exhibition of visual art by April McNew. History and literature enthusiasts can explore The View from the Hill, an intriguing traveling exhibit from the Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum. Beyond the displays, the library offers a peaceful retreat for festival-goers—providing a comfortable spot to sit down, cool off, or collaborate on a community puzzle.

Whether you are looking to admire local talent, dive into regional history, or simply take a relaxing break from the day's festivities, Dunklin County Library Director JoNell Minton invites everyone to step inside and experience what the library has to offer.
