Thank you for 80 years of being part of our story!

Weekends and certain holidays are excluded.

What a great weekend at RiverFest 2026 celebrating the rivers that help power our way of life, and a perfect way to kick off Public Power Week!

A big thank you to the Pasco Chamber of Commerce for bringing our community together!

At Benton PUD, hydropower helps us provide affordable, reliable electricity for homes, farms, and businesses throughout our community.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth and gave our Pedal Power bikes a spin!

Our community. Our rivers. Our power. 💧⚡

Our rivers help power our homes, move goods, and support fish and wildlife. Their future matters to all of us.

Before RiverFest on Saturday, we joined community and regional leaders at the RiverFest Leadership Breakfast. Speakers discussed policies such as increased water releases over dam spillways and the implications for barging, electricity production, and fish habitat.

Northwest RiverPartners’ Clark Mather shared encouraging messages: adult salmon and steelhead returns at Bonneville Dam in 2025 were nearly three times as high as in 1938, when counting began. He also emphasized that our region can accomplish great things when we work together.

Thank you to the Public Power Council, Northwest RiverPartners, and Tidewater Transportation and Terminals for sharing their perspectives—and to Tidewater for a tour of its Snake River terminal facilities.

Working together starts with understanding what connects us.

Thank you for your patience while our crews have worked for over 24 hours to restore power following the 2nd Street Fire.

The fire caused extensive damage, requiring replacement of 27 power poles and two transformers. These photos show some of the restoration work underway.

Thank you to our always on call crews for their hard work and diligence throughout this response.
