Congratulations to Skyler, one of our Tropical Smoothie Cafe Students of the Week! 🌴
Here's what one of his teachers said: "Skyler went out of his way to support a peer who was struggling in class. Later, that classmate voiced their appreciation for Skyler being there for them.!"
Amazing job, Skyler! This is what being a Hawk is all about! Continue to SOAR!! 💜🦅

Such a proud moment for fellow Hawk Assistant Principal DuChene! Check out this amazing spotlight that KUSD posted of her daughter - an amazing KUSD graduate!

Meet Lexie DuChene, a 2017 Tremper High School graduate who is now a U.S. Air Force F-15E Pilot.

🏡 Current city: Boise, ID

🍎 Favorite teacher: Ms. Brown (government) put in a ton of effort to make sure every student was seen, heard, and learned something every day. Seems small, but I know she made a big impact on me and others around me.

💬Advice to current KUSD students:
Following your dreams isn’t just saying it; it takes hard work and dedication if you truly want something. Never be afraid to fail, but always learn something. Anytime you do something, try to be better the next time. This is how you achieve your dreams or find new ones!

Some of our Hawks sat down with Dr. Weiss and Mr. Antholine to share their experiences at ITHSA. The group highlighted the importance of working together to achieve the mission of KUSD. We are so grateful to this group for using their student voices! 🖤💜🤍

Way to represent what it means to be a Hawk, Calvin!

Thank you to Indian Trail High School and Academy senior Calvin Dombkowski for serving as our student ambassador at tonight’s Board of Education meeting!

Calvin’s willingness to serve, ask thoughtful questions and engage in discussion helped bring a valuable student perspective to the table. We appreciate his leadership and his role in ensuring our students have a voice in the room.

Please join us in giving a BIG welcome to our newest Hawk, Ms. Gamez. Ms. Gamez joined Indian Trail last week as our Bilingual Community Liaison. She has been with KUSD for over 10 years and has previously worked with some of our Hawks back when they were just Eaglets attending EBSOLA Dual Language. She brings such positive energy and is already building incredible relationships with staff and students alike. Welcome to the nest, Ms. Gamez! We are so lucky to have you! 💜🦅

¡Bienvenida al nido, Sra. Gamez! ¡Somos muy afortunados de tenerla con nosotros! 💜🦅
