History will record our current Supreme Court as the most destructive to democracy since the dawn of our Republic. The destruction began with Citizens' United and continues to today's awful decision. The best solution is to VOTE. Vote as EARLY AS YOU CAN. Get everyone you know to VOTE too. BTW, we are in the 90-day window before election day, so no significant changes can be made to voter rolls. We can overcome their latest voter-suppression efforts. We just have to vote.

You can vote by ABSENTEE BALLOT now. Visit MyVote.CT.gov to apply for a ballot. or visit your Town Cerk's office to pick up a ballot beginning
October 2nd.

Early voting begins October 19th. Check your town's website to learn where and when you can vote. Here in Kent it is at Town Hall from
10:00 am - 6:00 pm everyday from October 19 through November 1. Extended hours on October 27 and 28 from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm

Election Day is November 3.

Since Trump, DOGE and the GOP gutted our inspection agencies, shopping for groceries has become like a game of Russian Roulette against cyclospora, e-coli, and listeria. Just today, another 137,000 pounds of beef, pork, and other meats have been recalled nationwide with the highest possible warning. Democrats believe Americans deserve safe food. If you do too, vote blue in November.

CT Republicans on the ballot in November -- Ryan Fazio (gubernatorial candidate) and Stephen Harding (incumbent candidate for State Senate in the 30th district) -- talk a lot about the cost of living and the economy. However, data and history show that Democrats are much better at handling the economy here in CT and in the country at large. It is easy to make affordabillity part of your campaign shtick. Successful fiscal management is much harder, and Democrats are always better at it.

Our men and women in uniform deserve a leader who is experienced, judicious and, most of all, honorable. That is not what we have in the former Fox TV host.

If you believe the U.S. should be a force for good in this world, you should vote for the Democratic ticket this election year. If you believe our leaders should exercise soft power not brutal aggression to achieve America's diplomatic goals, vote blue in November. &flip

For the 25th anniversary of 9/11, 2977 drones formed these ghost twin towers to honor all those who were lost that day. We will never forget them or the heroes who tried to save them.

Donald Trump has fomented a full-scale trade war with our closest and most trustworthy neighbor, Canada. He has gone so far as to post an AI video of himself beating Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney violently with a hockey stick. At the same time, Trump boasts about his friendship with North Korean dictator, Kim Jong Un. Republicans who support Donald Trump are silent, and therefore complicit in his foreign-relations malpractice. Democrats will focus on rebuilding our relationship with our friend Canada.
