Today and Tomorrow, the Kerman Senior Center invites the whole community to swing by, vote on your favorite scarecrow, and browse our pumpkin patch! Scarecrow voting ends at 12pm tomorrow, Friday 10/23. The pumpkin patch will be open until 4pm on Friday.
So bring the family and come on down to the Senior Center, 720 S. 8th street.

The Kerman Farmer's Market and Health Fair has been CANCELED tonight due to incoming thunderstorms. The Scarecrow Competition and Pumpkin Patch has been moved to the Kerman Senior Center - staring tomorrow, Thursday, 10/22, from 9am to 4pm, swing by for cheap pumpkins and vote on your favorite Scare Crow! Join the Crochet Studio - a group of fun and talented people, meeting Today, and every Monday at the Kerman Senior Center from 2-4pm. The program is for individuals of all ages! Bring your crochet hooks and some yarn - unless you are completely new to crochet, in which case bring your curiosity! Our crafters will happily show you the ropes! Help out the upcoming Kerman Farmer's Market, and try to win a prize! Bring one (or more) medium to large size pumpkin to the Kerman Senior Center by Tuesday, 10/20 at 4pm, and get a raffle ticket for the chance to win the Big Basket from Kerman Floral and Gift!
Pumpkins need to be whole, uncut and undecorated. You will receive one ticket for each pumpkin you bring!
We will be raffling the winning ticket on Wed. Oct 21st at the Kerman Farmer's Market, and you don't have to be present to win! This month's Farmer's Market will be a fall extravaganza with a scarecrow competition, information booths, vendors, food trucks, music, pumpkin games, kid zone and more! The event will be held at Kerckhoff Park, from 5-8pm and is free entry for the whole community! Hope to see you all there!

If you have ever wanted to learn how to sew on a machine, and create beautiful works of fabric art, swing by the Kerman Senior Center. Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month, 1pm to 5pm. Our talented instructor Diana Reyes will show you the ropes! You'll be surprised at what you can create. The lessons are free, participants must bring their own supplies. The senior center does collect donations of sewing supplies to help participants. Call 559-550-993 for more information.
