The roads in our district are still extremely slick.
NC DOT does have 2 motor graders coming to our area. Be patient and allow them room to work.

Please, do not get on any frozen ponds.

⚠️ Winter Safety Reminder

As temperatures drop, please do NOT walk on frozen ponds, lakes, creeks, or pools. Ice may look solid, but it’s often thinner and weaker than it appears — putting you at serious risk of falling through and drowning.

Stay safe. Stay off the ice. ❄️🚫
