🎨 Student Art Saturday at KHS! 🏺

Students in Ceramics 1 are learning the art of throwing pottery on the wheel! The process involves several steps, starting with centering the clay, opening it, and carefully pulling up the walls while keeping the clay centered.

Although the process takes practice, patience, and focus, this group is learning quickly and having fun along the way! Their growing skills and attention to technique are helping them create some well structured pottery. 💚

📞🏡 Our first graders are learning important life skills! They practiced remembering their parents’ phone numbers, home addresses, and knowing when it’s appropriate to call 911. These are important skills that help students build confidence and stay safe!

A huge thank you to Mrs. Mundigler for always making this lesson realistic, hands-on, and meaningful for our students! 💚

🚵‍♂️ Congratulations to Ephraim E. and John R.! 💚

They had a great race this past weekend at Nordic Mountain in Wild Rose for the fourth mountain bike race of the season!

With approximately 603 athletes competing across various categories, racers faced a challenging course featuring tough climbs, fast descents, tight turns, exposed roots and rocky terrain.

Both riders did an outstanding job navigating the technical course and representing the Washington County Trail Sharks!

As always, we are so proud of both of them! Way to go, Ephraim and John! 👏💚
