📍 800 Ross Avenue, Kilgore, TX

Bring the entire family out for a night of fun featuring:

🍬 Trunk-or-Treat
👻 Family-Friendly Haunted House
📸 Photo Booth
💦 Dunking Booth
🐉 Myths and Legends themed activities
🎉 Free Admission

And of course, make sure you stop by the KCPD trunk! 🚔

We've been busy planning our display, and if you know KCPD, then you know we don't enter decorating contests just to participate... we come for the W! 🏆😎 We fully intend to have one of the spookiest, most creative trunks at the event, so be sure to stop by, grab some candy, take a photo, and let us know if we're championship material.

While everyone is loading up on sugar, enjoying the festivities, and hunting for the best candy, KCPD will be on patrol keeping everyone safe from the boogeyman and anything else that goes bump in the night. 👮‍♀️👻

We can't wait to see everyone for an evening filled with treats, laughs, and community fun. See you on October 29th!

During National Night Out we were asked this very important question.

What message would we like to tell the community?

National Night Out 🚓

Officer Lindley was having such a great time, he couldn’t stop himself from dancing 🕺

And Yesssssssss your eyes are working fine, you do see in the video, we lost to a bunch of little kids in Tug-A-War 🤣

What an amazing event, we had so much fun with our community.

Can’t wait to do it again next year.

🎉 WOW, WOW, WOW! What an incredible National Night Out Block Party! 🎉

Ranger Nation and the Kilgore community absolutely showed up and showed out yesterday! From the moment the event started until the very end, the energy, excitement, and community spirit were unmatched. Y'all came ready to have a great time, and we could not be more thankful for the amazing turnout.

The kids had a blast keeping us on our toes, and honestly, they made sure to let us know who the real champions were as they beat us in tug-of-war, the sack race, egg toss, and three-legged race! We enjoyed great food, great music, and great fellowship throughout the evening. The bounce house stayed busy all four hours, the DJ kept the party going, and Fire for effect fitness had Ranger Nation moving with an awesome workout session.

Most importantly, the event brought our community together, and that's exactly what National Night Out is all about.

A special thank you to:

⭐ Our Ranger Nation family for showing up and supporting this event.
⭐ The Kilgore community for joining us and celebrating alongside us.
⭐ The Kilgore Fire Department for your participation and support.
⭐ The East Texas Police Academy and Kilgore College Fire Academy for bringing out the police unit, EMS truck, and fire truck.
⭐ Our Fire Cadets for participating, competing, and having a great time with everyone.
⭐ Tri-C, BSM, and The Outpost for providing food and beverages.
⭐ Charlie Snow Cones for coming out and serving our guests.
⭐ Mrs. Foster, our event coordinator, for helping bring this vision to life.
⭐ Mrs. K. Petty for her hard work and assistance with planning and coordinating the event.
⭐ Mrs. Betsy for providing the Ranger Roadshow, t-shirts, and the 360 photo booth experience.
⭐ Fire for effect fitness for bringing the workout truck and helping us get our sweat on!

This event truly took a community effort, and together, we made it a tremendous success. Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, donated, participated, and supported National Night Out.

We are already looking forward to doing it all again next year! 💙🧡

Dear Residents,
This week, the Kilgore College Police Department handled a report regarding a stolen vehicle. On Monday, KPD recovered the unoccupied vehicle.
KPD had taken a juvenile runaway and believed they might be connected.
Last night, after a second vehicle was stolen, KPD Detectives pursued leads until this afternoon when Officer Torres located the vehicle on North Street. Two subjects fled the car on foot; one was apprehended immediately, while the other fled into a wooded area. A perimeter was established by Officers, Detectives, Administrators, and KCPD. Our Drone Unit was deployed, and since our K-9 units were away for training, the Longview Police Department (LPD) provided a K-9 unit to assist. Ultimately, the driver was located and taken into custody. We thank KCPD and LPD for their assistance.
Additionally, we received a report of a vehicle burglary this week, and this morning, we were provided with video footage of subjects attempting to enter a truck in the Spring Tree Addition. It appears these are the same suspects involved in the vehicle thefts. We are grateful to the citizens who quickly shared this footage to assist our investigation. If you see something, say something. Together, we can make a difference.
Both stolen vehicles have been recovered and will be returned to their owners. The two suspects are juveniles and have been transported to the Juvenile Detention Center in Gregg County. Our investigation remains ongoing, and we anticipate additional arrests.
Please remember to keep your vehicles locked at all times and never leave your keys in the car. Never leave unsecured weapons or any items of value in plain sight.
