🔥 DUNN COUNTY BURNING NOTICE 🔥

When the Rangeland Fire Danger Index is LOW or MODERATE, burning of garbage pits, large debris piles, trees, or similar materials may be allowed, provided all applicable rules and restrictions are followed.

Before starting any burn, please notify your local fire chief and provide the following information:

📍 Location of the fire — nearest address or clear directions to the burn site
👤 Name of the person responsible for the burn
📞 Contact phone number for the person conducting the burn

🔥 IMPORTANT: The person conducting the burn is responsible for that fire until it is completely extinguished. Do not leave the fire unattended. Make sure it is fully out before leaving the area and continue to monitor it as needed.

Fire conditions can change quickly. Always check the current Rangeland Fire Danger Index and follow any burning restrictions or instructions issued by local fire officials.

When in doubt, contact your local fire chief before burning.

Please share this information with anyone planning to conduct a large burn in Dunn County.
