What a NIGHT for National Night Out! 🚓🚒

Tuesday evening was filled with fun, laughter, and community spirit at Town Centre Park, and we couldn’t be more thankful for everyone who made it such a great event!

A HUGE thank you to all of our first responders, local businesses, community organizations, volunteers, and community partners who came together to make the evening possible. From games and activities to demonstrations and conversations, it was wonderful to see our community connecting with the people and organizations who serve it every day.

We had SO MANY incredible organizations and partners participate that Facebook won’t even let us tag everyone in one post because we’d exceed the tagging limit! How awesome is that?! That’s a pretty great problem to have, and it says so much about the amazing community we live in!

And of course, thank you to everyone who came out to join the fun, meet our first responders, and show your support.

National Night Out is all about building relationships, strengthening community partnerships, and bringing neighbors together. Tuesday night was a perfect example of just that!

We can’t wait to do it again next year! ❤️💙

I’m excited to share that I’ll have a gift basket included in the FREE raffle at National Night Out!

The basket is packed with some fun fall goodies and handmade items — perfect for getting into the autumn spirit.

So come out, bring the family, grab some food, say hello, and enter the raffle! You never know… you might be going home with a basket full of goodies. 😉

Most importantly, National Night Out is about community. It’s a chance to meet your neighbors, enjoy some time together, and strengthen the connections that make Kilmarnock such a great place to call home.

I hope to see you there! 🇺🇸🚔❤️

We enjoyed welcoming a group of juniors from Christchurch School to Town Hall today!

The students stopped by to interview members of Town staff and Officer Morelli with Kilmarnock, VA Police Department learning more about their jobs, responsibilities and what goes into serving the Kilmarnock community each day.

We were happy to answer their questions, share a little about the many different roles within local government and give them a closer look at the people behind the work that keeps our Town running.

Thank you to the students for stopping by and for taking an interest in local government and public service!
