King George Middle School Math 7 students had fun with a little Trick-or-Treating- Equation Style!

Students practiced solving one- and two-step equations through hands-on, interactive learning. They had a blast working through problems, putting their math skills to the test, and discovering that learning math can be a real treat!

Learning is hands-on in Mrs. Tregoning’s kindergarten classroom at Sealston Elementary!

Students explored the world of pumpkins through engaging, hands-on learning. They observed and investigated a pumpkin, carefully dissected it to discover what was inside, and then used the seeds to create a ten frame!

Royal Readers at PES!

3rd graders at Potomac Elementary became Royal Readers as they dove into the Benchmark Advance text, The Tale of King Midas! Students had a royal time annotating, analyzing the text, and digging deeper into the story’s meaning. Along the way, students discovered an important lesson about what truly matters most in life!

We’re so proud of our young readers for thinking critically, making connections, and growing their love of reading!

It’s School Bus Safety Week!

This week, we’re reminding our students, families, and community to make school bus safety a priority! Keeping our students safe is a team effort, and every precaution matters.

Remember these four important safety tips:

Stay Back — Keep a safe distance from the bus.
Always Wait — Wait until the bus comes to a complete stop and the driver signals it’s safe.
Face Forward — Stay seated and face forward while the bus is moving.
Exit Safely — Watch your step and use the handrails when getting off the bus.

Let’s work together to keep our students safe on the way to and from school!
