We are just one month out from the election! Mail in ballots are being sent out and the drop box at the Upper Merion Township Building is open 24/7 through Election Day.

Additionally, Montgomery County Voter Services will have their Mobile Voter Van in our area twice this month. Here you can register to vote, request a mail ballot, as well as return your completed ballot.

BREAKING: I just signed an Executive Order implementing the strictest standards in the nation for AI data centers — because I will not allow Pennsylvanians to be bullied by greedy developers and bulldozed by the lawyers working for these big tech companies.

Effective immediately, we’re requiring AI data centers to commit to strict environmental and transparency requirements AND receive approval from the local community if they want to build here.

That’s not all: We’re also removing ALL data centers from our Fast Track permit program and stopping any office or agency under my jurisdiction from signing an NDA with AI data center developers.

I’m putting these developers on notice and letting them know that we will not let them bully Pennsylvanians, disregard our constitutional right to clean air and pure water, and drive up our utility bills.

I’m using the full weight of my executive authority to block the objectionable, unwarranted projects and put the nation’s strictest set of protections in place.

🚨Update on the 2026-2027 Pennsylvania budget

Senate Republicans voted to send us home yesterday, despite our constitutionally mandated June 30 state budget deadline. I voted against this recess alongside my Pennsylvania Senate Democratic Caucus colleagues, because promising a budget "in the days following July 4th" is simply not good enough.

The budget deadline has now passed. Our communities elected us, as legislators, to serve and deliver timely results, not play games with tangible, lifeline funding so one party can score some abstract political points. While the House passed a budget—with bipartisan support—in April, the Senate has yet to even vote on a budget bill.

My Democratic colleagues and I will continue to fight to do right by our communities. We are ready, willing, and able to pass a comprehensive budget that sustainably funds our childcare providers, public transit, schools, county services, and all of the necessary entities that keep this Commonwealth thriving.

I will continue to provide updates about the ongoing negotiations, and I encourage you all to reach out to my offices with your questions and concerns.
