Your voice is essential! Our survey takes 5-10 minutes to complete, and we would love to hear your feedback. You can visit the link: https://forms.gle/ZU2MRE5bGmBcACfr8 or scan the QR code to be taken to the survey page.

If you choose to leave your name and contact at the end of the form, you can be entered into our giveaways. That information will only be seen by the Director of the Northwestern Regional Library and your local branch manager. All answers to the questions will remain anonymous.

Your feedback will guide our decisions on future programs, digital resources, physical collection updates, and everything in-between across all our branches.
Thank you for helping us build a stronger community together!

September is Be Kind to Writers and Editors Month. Writers and editors come in many forms and from many different genres and disciplines, but all of them have a difficult job in common. Here are some ways to show your love for writers and editors: send an eCard to thank or acknowledge them; email your favorite writer wishing them a great month; mention your favorite writer on social media and tag them; follow, friend or like them on your social media outlets. After all, writers are all around us and we want them to continue doing what they do! Visit the Northwestern Regional Library for more ways to be kind to writers and editors!

After seeing this post, one of our AMAZING patrons brought us a bunch of spiral bound notebooks!! So, if you would like to start a book journal and just need somewhere to take notes...just let us know 😁
(This is just one of the MANY reasons we love our community ❤️)

Do you love the story? Take notes, but please not on the original, especially not on almost every single page of a book!

Public libraries thrive on sharing. Keeping the pages of a book clean from personal markings means that the next person to check it out gets to fall in love with it.

Instead, try writing your annotations in a journal. Did you know that you can request a FREE small lined notebook from our library? That's right! In the back, we have journals that you can get the next time you check out a book.
We actually just gave a bunch to our homeschoolers so that they can write their thoughts about the book Blue's March as they read.

So come in, find your next favorite book, take a notebook home, and write down your thoughts. Truth is, you can come in and talk to us about any book at anytime. We actually love it when you do!

Our branch (King) may not currently have notebooks to handout, like Jonesville, but we stand with our sister branch in requesting that you care for borrowed items in a way that will leave them enjoyable for the next person. We understand that accidents will happen, but please don't deface borrowed materials intentionally.

Do you love the story? Take notes, but please not on the original, especially not on almost every single page of a book!
