💙 PTSD isn't always about fear.

Sometimes the deepest wounds come from guilt, shame, betrayal, or the feeling that you should have done more.

This experience is often called "moral injury". It can affect healthcare workers, first responders, veterans, caregivers, and anyone who has lived through a difficult situation that challenged their values, beliefs, or sense of responsibility.

People experiencing moral injury may struggle with feelings of anger, self-blame, loss of purpose, or disappointment in themselves or others. While moral injury can overlap with PTSD, it is not the same thing.

If you've ever carried the weight of "what if," "if only," or "I should have done more," you're not alone.

Healing begins with recognizing that some wounds aren't visible, and that support, understanding, and compassion matter.
