This is a voluntary group of doctors, hospitals, and health care providers working together with Medicare to give you high quality, more coordinated service and care. An ACO is NOT a Medicare Advantage Plan, HMO, or insurance plan. You still choose your doctor and your hospital. Your Medicare benefits do not change.
