Temporary Closure of Centennial Park Recreation Office and Pool Parking Lot for Improvements.
The City of Kingman Parks and Recreation Department is advising residents that the Centennial Park Recreation Office and Pool parking lot will be temporarily closed beginning Monday, June 1, 2026, for approximately two weeks due to asphalt replacement work.
During the closure, visitors may continue to access Centennial Park, the Recreation Office, and pool facilities by utilizing the following alternate parking areas:
• KAOL Middle School parking lot on Harrison Street
• Centennial Park parking lot on Beverly Avenue
• Centennial Park parking lot on Burbank Street
• Centennial Park Community Center parking lot on Harrison Street
Visitors are encouraged to follow all posted signage and use caution around active construction areas during the improvement project.
The City appreciates the community’s patience and understanding as these improvements are completed to enhance the parking facilities at Centennial Park.

Camp Beale Loop Phase II is nearing completion. Crews are still working through final touch-up items, with trail signage coming soon.
Construction began in the winter of 2025 and has added approximately 4 miles of new trail featuring a combination of beginner, intermediate, and expert routes, primarily located between the east side of the Beale Loop and Divider Trail.
We would like to thank the Colorado River Area Trail Alliance for their continued partnership and assistance during volunteer work days throughout the project. We also want to recognize our Trails staff for their hard work and dedication, along with City Council and City Leadership for their continued support and investment in expanding and improving our trail system.

We are proud to announce that on Monday, May 25th we had the Grand Opening of Grandview Pool after some well needed renovations. Thank you to our City Council and our Parks Commission for their continued support. We want to give a huge shout out to our Parks & Aquatic division team members who put in numerous hours of labor to help get the pool up and running on time. We also want to thank the public who attended the opening and showing up on our first day of. The City of Kingman would like to thank everyone who attended the ribbon cutting for the Grandview Pool.
Special thanks to Aquavida Pools, Encore Electric, and our Parks/Pool staff for their hard work and dedication in completing this project.
We also want to recognize the first patron to try the new climbing walls—an exciting milestone for the facility.
We appreciate the community’s support and look forward to everyone enjoying the upgraded pool this season.
Centennial and Grandview entry fee for today 5/25/26 is $1. Monday's are $1 at both facilities all summer. Hours, Fees, and activities for the facilities are posted in the following places; https://www.cityofkingman.gov/ , at both facilities, and in the Parks and Recreation Guide booklet.
