We were delighted to welcome Leadership Camden to the Kingsland Welcome Center! Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our Welcome Center, the resources we provide to visitors, and the important role tourism plays in our community.

From helping visitors discover local businesses and attractions to highlighting the experiences that make Kingsland special, tourism helps support our local economy, strengthen our community, and showcase all that our area has to offer. We’re grateful for the opportunity to share a little more about what we do and the impact tourism makes right here at home!

‼ IMPORTANT UPDATE ‼

The Okefenokee Chamber Of Commerce has officially rescheduled the Okefenokee Festival! Please check out the post below for the new date!

After extensive conversations with city officals including EMA this morning, it is with a saddened heart we have to postpone the Okefenokee Festival due to the overnight shift in anticipated weather conditions and serious potential for heavy rains and extreme winds.

We understand the disappointment and inconvenience this may cause, but our community members and vendors safety is our number one priority, so we must err on the side of caution.

We hope all of our vendors and community members will be able to join us Saturday, October 24, 2026. If there are any questions or concerns, please email us [email protected]. If you are a vendor and unable to attend the rescheduled event, please reach out via email prior to Wednesday, October 14, 2026.

🌿🎉 The Okefenokee Festival is just around the corner!

Just down the road from Kingsland in Folkston, the Okefenokee Festival by the Okefenokee Chamber Of Commerce takes over Main Street on Saturday, October 10th for a day packed with fun, entertainment, and community spirit!

Held around the historic old train depot, this annual festival has something for everyone:
