Dear Parents,
Thank you for your incredible support and cooperation with our new morning arrival traffic flow that started today.

We deeply appreciate everyone’s patience and flexibility as we work through this new procedure together. While any shift in routine takes time, we are highly encouraged by how smoothly day one went and are confident that the process will become even quicker and more efficient as everyone grows accustomed to the routine.

Please note that our dismissal procedure will NOT change at this time. For afternoon pickup, please continue to park and walk up to the cafeteria doors to collect your students.

Thank you again for partnering with us to keep our students safe and our campus running smoothly.

On Monday November 2nd our Varsity team will be traveling to Deckerville to take on Mayville in the first round of districts. First set will begin at 6 pm. All tickets will be purchased through GoFan. I will post a link for that in the next few days.

Attention Elementary Parents & Guardians, effective Monday, Oct. 26th we are reversing the traffic flow for student drop-off and pick-up. Drivers will travel clockwise around the parking lot and students will leave and enter vehicles on the driver's side in the designated spots along the sidewalk only. Please see the attached graphic for more information. Thank you for your cooperation as we work to improve student safety.

Kingston Community Schools is going on a two hour delay with no morning Tech Center today, October 23 due to fog. Classes will begin two hours later than normal.

Good Afternoon Kingston Community,

This morning, Kingston Community Schools was notified by law enforcement of a situation a few miles west of the school district. The situation had no association with our school district, other than its proximity.

As a result of the ongoing situation, we chose to be as safe as possible. As a result, Kingston Community Schools moved into “Secure Mode.” Secure mode is a safety precaution where we continue to have classes, move all outside activity inside, and not allow anyone in or out of the school buildings. Fortunately the situation was resolved to law enforcement’s satisfaction that the safety of the school district was not in jeopardy. As a result, we have lifted the secure mode and returned our day to normal operations.

Thank you all for your understanding and cooperation during this short period of time, and we appreciate the cooperation of local law authorities in this situation. As always, our number one priority is for the safety of our school community.
