Last week, we said goodbye to a very special member of our Michael Dunn Center family. ❤️

After 27 years of dedication, hard work, and making a difference in the lives of others, Christine has officially closed this chapter of her career and begun a new one
🎉retirement! 🎉

Twenty-seven years is more than just a number. It’s a lifetime of memories, friendships, laughter, and lives touched along the way.

Christine, you will be greatly missed, but we are so excited for you as you begin this next adventure. Thank you for your many years of service and for being such an important part of our MDC family.

Our MDC Annual Picnic was a huge success! From great food, good company, and fellowship, to boat rides, face painting, and music... lots of fun was had by everyone! We want to thank all MDC staff (current & former), MDC Board Members, community friends, and people we support for attending. We also want to thank anyone who may have taken part in sponsoring MDC's Annual Picnic.

Join us this Friday, September 25 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Roane County Park, Pavilion #2 for one of our favorite traditions of the year, the Michael Dunn Center Annual Picnic, proudly sponsored by Food City!

Recently, several of the individuals we support enjoyed some exciting trips to the Tennessee Valley Fair, and what wonderful times they had!

From enjoying delicious fair food and taking in the sights to experiencing the rides, games, exhibits, and entertainment, their days were filled with laughter, fun, and unforgettable memories. Outings like these provide opportunities to connect with the community, try new experiences, and create lasting friendships.

We're grateful for the dedicated staff who help make adventures like this possible and for the smiles and memories that make every moment worthwhile.

🎉🪩 That’s a wrap on DSP Appreciation Week! 🪩🎉

We finished out our Spirit Week in true groovy fashion!

Friday was Tie-Dye Day, and our team brought all the bright colors and good vibes! ✌️🌈 Then on Saturday, we turned up the volume for 70s Rock N’ Roll Day! 🎶🤘

It’s been such a fun week celebrating the incredible DSPs who show up every day with compassion, dedication, and heart for the people we support. We hope everyone enjoyed the dress-up days, celebrations, and all the fun along the way!

A huge THANK YOU to all of our DSPs for everything you do. We appreciate you this week and every week! 💛

🍔✨ BURGERS, SMILES & DSP APPRECIATION! ✨🍔

As part of our DSP Appreciation Week celebrations, we fired up the grill Wednesday for a special Burger Bar at our office! 🎉

Our amazing DSPs and the people we support were invited to stop by, place their orders, and enjoy some delicious burgers served up with all the fixings! We also handed out special shirts to mark the occasion of this special week. 😃

It was a fun opportunity to spend time together and show a little extra appreciation for the incredible DSPs who make a difference in the lives of the people we support every single day. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who joined us, and an even bigger THANK YOU to our DSPs for the compassion, dedication, and heart you bring to Michael Dunn Center!
