Library at the A.J. Williams-Myers African Roots Center Established in 2017, we celebrate the diverse cultural roots of people in our community. And everything we provide to the community is free.

We uplift the history, experience, and culture of Black Peoples, Indigenous Peoples, and Peoples of Color through our library collection and through our programming for children, teens, adults, and elders. The African Roots Center uplifts the history and culture of Black, Indigenous and People of Color. We do so with programs for children, teens and adults, through our Library collection, and by making our space available to community groups and organizations that share our commitment to the advancement of historical knowledge, cultural enrichment, civic engagement and social justice.
