The Kingston Police Department extends our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of retired Sheriff Tom Spangler. His dedication to public service reached far beyond Knox County, and he was always willing to lend a helping hand.

🚨 Kingston Elementary Afternoon Pick-Up Reminder 🚨

Parents and guardians are reminded that vehicles are NOT permitted to enter the afternoon car rider line from Lawnville Road. All car rider traffic must enter from Highway 70 and follow the designated route shown on the map, which was provided to students at the beginning of the school year.

An officer will be stationed at the Lawnville Road entrance to prevent vehicles from entering from that direction.

Please plan accordingly and follow the designated traffic pattern to help keep traffic moving safely and efficiently.

Thank you for your cooperation, and let’s have a safe and fun school year! 📚🚔
