Williamsburg County Veterans Affairs proudly congratulates our very own Director, Deborah Wilson-McPherson, on her recent promotion to the rank of First Sergeant (1SG) in the South Carolina Army National Guard! 💪🏾🎖️

This remarkable achievement marks a historic milestone as 1SG Wilson-McPherson becomes the FIRST FEMALE FIRST SERGEANT in the history of the 1052nd Transportation Company in Kingstree, South Carolina! 👏🏾🔥

Her promotion reflects years of dedicated service, strong leadership, unwavering commitment, and a passion for serving others—both in uniform and in her role serving the veterans of Williamsburg County.

Today, we celebrate not only her well-deserved promotion but also the doors she has opened and the example she sets for women, soldiers, and future leaders. Her accomplishment is a testament to perseverance, excellence, and breaking barriers!
