Children's author Daniel Mikolay to conduct a reading of his book

Daniel Mikolay grew up in a family of six children in Kingsville. His mother Margaret graduated from college in the 1940s and taught home economics for many years. She was born with a partial right arm. When she was a little girl, some people thought she wouldn't be able to do things like other kids, and even as a grown-up, people thought she wouldn't be able to do things like other grown-ups. But they were wrong as she was capable of doing anything. His book The Arm Chair Project took inspiration from his family's story. Pre-registration is required; please visit our website to register.

The Friends of the Kingsville Public Library are holding a Donation Drive in partnership with Goodwill of Northeast Ohio and Northwest Pennsylvania. The Donation Drive will be held from Wednesday, October 7, to Tuesday, October 13, with drop-off times during library hours or on Sunday, October 11, from 12- 4 pm. Your gently used items will help fund library programming.

Haunted House Family Challenge is back! Pick up your Haunted House kit starting October 1. The deadline to return the Haunted House will be on Saturday, October 17. Houses will be on display inside the library, where patrons will vote. A mystery prize will be awarded to the winner on Friday, October 30.
