Preston County Economic Development Authority Develop In Preston County, WV & Breathe Easier The PCEDA has also successfully written applications for grants in excess of $7 million.

The PCEDA works with local, regional and state economic development agencies to bring new business to the area and to retain existing businesses. Some of our partners include the Preston County Chamber of Commerce, the Morgantown Area Economic Partnership, the West Virginia Hardwood Alliance Zone and the West Virginia Development Office. In addition to business recruitment and retention services, the PCEDA also provides project administration and grant writing services. To date, the PCEDA has administered over $25 million in grant and loan funds for water, sewer, road and site development projects.
