Proceeds to benefit children served by the Little Bit Foundation (littlebitfoundation.org) The Kirkwood Mitten Tree Project is located at 425 N. Taylor Ave. in Kirkwood, MO. If you are planning on donating mittens, gloves, scarves or hats, please take a ziploc bag from the plastic container next to the tree, place your donation inside and then clip it onto the tree with one of the clothespins on the tree. Very special thanks to:

3. Alex Linek for designing the logo and poster. We love it! You are such a cheerful giver!
4. Kelly Horneyer Pi**el for helping with the page--we love you!
5. Courtney O'Brien for shopping in the Christmas madness for the first donation to this year's Mitten Tree, courtesy of Agape Construction.

Hey, all you MAHJONG GROUPS! The Kirkwood Mitten Tree will be back again for the 2026 holiday season. If your group is looking for a holiday service project to contribute to, please consider collecting winter hats, gloves, mittens and scarves to clip to the tree. Your group will be recognized here on this page and you will know you’ve helped the kids served by the Little Bit Foundation stay a bit warmer this winter. 😊

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who left donations for the Mitten Tree this 2025 holiday season. We were able to beat the incoming bad weather by a day and removed all the donations. They were all delivered to the Little Bit Foundation just before the extreme cold weather hit.
Your generous gifts helped warm the cold heads and hands of the children who needed it most. We are deeply grateful.
See you again in December!
