Motorcycle 🏍safety starts with the right gear—and the right decision for the weather. Don’t underestimate the importance of PPE: a quality helmet can be the difference between life and death. Add a sturdy jacket, gloves, boots, and high-visibility or reflective gear to help protect against abrasion, impact, and reduced visibility. All The Gear All The Time!

🔥 Mission readiness isn't just about tactical execution—it begins with preserving our people, assets, and operational environments.

As we observe Fire Prevention Week, we are reminded that fire safety is a direct function of Operational Risk Management. A preventable fire in a workshop, hangar, launch pad, or dorm doesn't just damage property it degrades our operational capability and compromises the mission.

Whether on duty or at home, applying the core principles of ORM ensures we stay mission capable. Safety is not a checklist; It is an operational mindset. By taking ownership, you protect yourself and your teammates and guarantee readiness.

Drivers stay vigilant and watch out for pedestrians.

6-9 p.m. is one of the deadliest windows for pedestrians — right as most of us are driving home, picking up dinner or walking the dog.

The majority of pedestrian deaths in 2024 happened in the dark. Slow down and stay alert!

🍁 Beautiful views, hidden hazards. Autumn is prime riding season, but wet leaves, cold tires, blinding sun glare, and active wildlife can quickly turn a great ride into a dangerous one.

Stay safe on the road with these quick tips:

🍂 Steer Clear of Leaves: Treat leaf-covered roads like ice—avoid sudden braking or sharp turns.
🥶 Warm Up Tires: Low temperatures reduce grip. Give your tires extra time to warm up.
🕶️ Beat the Glare: Wear polarized sunglasses and increase your following distance.
🦌 Watch for Wildlife: It is mating season. Scan road shoulders constantly.
Gear up, stay alert, and enjoy the ride! 🏍️
