The Hall Memorial Bench is refinished and installed and looking beautiful thanks to our own Dep. Harbormaster Brian Pattullo. Thank you sir for the hard work and attention to detail.
Because of all the hard work both Brian and Alex put into making the benches look amazing, sadly I’m going to have to forbid the use of the benches from this point forward. You may look at them, make compliments about how beautiful they look but there shall be no buttocks’s being placed on them at any time. You can hover over them no closer than 6 inches but no direct contact with them. Violations of this order are punishable by the ways of the old sailors such as walking the plank or keel hauling and we will all stand by and watch saying pirate stuff such as AAARRRRRR and other cool pirate phrases.
Obviously a joke… enjoy them and if you see Brian and Alex… tell em thanks!

A local young man has started a dock pressure washing business and Ive been attempting to put together a list of boating and waterfront services so here is my start haha.

Put your hands together for Alex Dearborn of Kittery Point for volunteering and taking the time to refinish the Frisbee Memorial Bench. It looks great Alex, we totally appreciate that!
The Hall bench is currently being refinished by our own Deputy Harbormaster Brian Pattullo. It will be put back together soon!

📰 Maine State Police and NCIS Investigate Human Remains Found at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard 📰

Kittery, ME — At approximately 9:50 AM on Wednesday, 05/20/2026, Portsmouth Naval Shipyard civilian divers conducting routine barge inspections in the area of Berth 14 (Dry Dock 3 facing Kittery Foreside) discovered human remains in the water.

Maine State Police and Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) are currently investigating. The remains will be transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for identification and to determine the cause and manner of death.

There is no danger to the public.
