Kittery Rotary After Hours Club

For the month of April, we teamed up with the Kittery Rotary morning club, Hampton Inn and Second Christian Church - we collected over 300 lbs of spaghetti sauce and donated it to Footprints!
May’s collection will be birthday cakes, frosting and candles!! 🎉

And after all our hard work, we went out to play!

Our Club loves making up May Day Baskets for local Churches and Durgin Pines every year.

Our dear friend Joanne Small left us for heaven this
week; far sooner than we hoped, but happily, she can now rest easily, without the anguish of pain, in a lovely place where the warmth of the noon-time sun eternally shines. Joanne was a wonderful woman and a well-known and highly respected professional in our community. She was a dedicated charter member of our Rotary Club who embodied service above self in every way. She enjoyed laughing and having fun, and while she is no longer with us, the memory of her will continue to raise our spirits and encourage our love of Rotary.

We also collected over 50 pounds of food from our Food Collection Bin at the Hampton Inn in Kittery.

The Rotary Clubs and Kittery School Department delivered over 130 pounds of cooking oil to Footprints today!
Pasta Sauce is being collected for April.

Always a fun night at our Rotary meetings - we are collecting Cooking Oil for Footprints Food Pantry this month and planning lots of new projects.
Bonus night is when Pam Gray, Assistant Governor and good friend joins us!

Please let us know when you want to join us - we are at the Kittery Hampton Inn on the first and third Thursday of every month from 5-6!

Our club is looking for new and gently used books for Kindergarten through Grade 4.
If you’re cleaning out and have some books you’d like to get out of your house - we’ll take them!! Thanks!
