The staff, students, parents, and guardians of the Therapeutic & Readiness Center are committed to helping all students acquire the academic, social, and behavioral skills necessary for improving general education participation. TEP was established in 1996 with the major focus of socializing students to normative standards in terms of interpersonal skills with peers and adults, to teach classroom behaviors that promote learning, and to encourage problem solving skills that eschew violent and aggressive strategies. TEP uses proactive strategies to decrease the incidence and prevalence of antisocial behaviors by utilizing social skills instruction, academic remediation, counseling and behavioral interventions.

✨Weekly Staff Spotlight✨

Ms. Kitchen goes above and beyond every day to support not just her own students, but any student in our school who needs a little extra help, encouragement, or support. She is always willing to jump in wherever she’s needed, takes on new challenges head-on, and approaches every opportunity with a can-do attitude. Beyond being an incredible educator, she is also the kind of friend everyone needs! She is someone who is always there to listen, offer support, and be a shoulder to lean on. 💛 Ms. Kitchen, thank you for the heart you put into everything you do, the way you show up for our students and staff, and the difference you make in our school community.

✨Weekly Staff Spotlight!✨

Some people have a way of making a campus brighter simply by being part of it, and Mr. Faircloth is definitely one of those people. He shows unwavering support to both students and staff, and he makes sure others know they always have someone in their corner. He gives so much of his time and heart to TRC, often in ways that happen quietly, but are felt every single day. His presence reminds us what it looks like to lead with kindness and genuine care. We are incredibly lucky to have someone who cares so deeply about our students, our staff, and the heart of our program. Thank you, Mr. Faircloth, for everything you pour into our campus and for being such a bright light!💛

Thank you so much to our incredible custodians. The dedication and hard work they put in to keep our school safe, clean, and ready for our scholars every day is truly amazing. We are so appreciative of them, today and every day! 💛

We are so thankful for Mr. Soderberg and all that he does for our students and staff! He is someone who truly puts student safety first, always goes the extra mile to make sure every student feels successful, and brings a positive attitude to our campus each and every day. Whether it’s making sure our students feel safe and supported or greeting staff with a smile each morning, he always has a way of making everyone’s day a little brighter. We’re so lucky to have him on our team! 💛
