Libertarians at UTK

We can't think of a government with too little power, so this list applies to everyone! We encourage you to be aware of the way governments will take control of your life (with no authority to do so...)

Whether that means

🔸 limiting the substances you choose to but in YOUR body
🔸 punishing you for victimless crimes (not wearing a seatbelt?)
🔸 taking the money you earned

or the thousands of other unjustified acts carried out by governments

It’s ! Here are some libertarian and nonpartisan organizations you can give to. We hope everyone had a great thanksgiving and feels encouraged to help the less fortunate individuals in our communities.

It’s a great time to have political conversations with relatives (sarcasm intended). If you end up discussing libertarianism, remember

1. Don’t hurt people and don’t take their stuff
2. “You live your life and I’ll live mine”
3. Freedom encourages people make their own decisions

YOU know what’s best for yourself. Don’t force your choices on others. Happy thanksgiving.

There was a great turnout at the Jorgenson Rally! Dr. Jo is very knowledgeable on the libertarian ideology,and is a great presidential candidate. We are very excited to see the liberty movement growing in Knoxville and across the country! DM us to get more involved and be added to the email list!

In honor of the tonight, we’d like to remind everyone that third party candidates are not allowed to debate unless they poll at 15% on 5 preselected national polls...SUPRISE! Those polls exclude third party candidates.

There are A LOT of ideological differences within libertarianism. However, the Non-Aggression Principle (NAP) is the simplest belief that most libertarians agree on. Humans should be free to do what they want as long as they don't hurt other people, or their property. Let us know what you think in the comments!
