Did you know? After spending over $750K on new voting machines which only got used during last year’s elections, the Anderson County Election Administrator now wants to spend another ~$1 million to replace them.

Why? Because of a presidential executive order—even though states run their own elections. (Civics 101)

This would be a HUGE overstep of Tennessee’s Legislature and a kick to the Anderson County Commission which is currently working on the county’s budget.

Yesterday was the first of many county party reorganizations, and what a great way to celebrate International Women’s Day AND kick off reorg season!

Congratulations to the Hamilton County Democratic Party for a historical election and a successful reorganization - from 75 attendees in 2023 to over 300 in 2025, it’s clear that people are angry and ready to push back.

Over the next month and a half, most Democratic county parties will host their reorganization conventions, where they’ll elect new officers and their executive committee for the 2025-2027 cycle. Interested in getting involved? Find your county party here: https://www.tndp.org/county-parties
