This is my original American Civil War knapsack. The history of the knapsack is unknown, other than where it was found. It was discovered in the attic of an old house, and no one knows who put it there or when. After the house was sold, someone found it in the attic and sold it to a person their friend knew. It was eventually sold to me. Years later, it still looks as it did when I bought it.

The knapsack has two rectangular buckles, one J-hook, and one triangular buckle. It’s neat to see this piece of history still intact, as there are very few left.
