For discussion: What role does implicit bias play in patient care or in health disparities? Self reflect: what preferences, stereotypes, or bias behaviors do you have?

SOMA acknowledges many health inequities exist among BIPOC communities, and we are committed to providing educational opportunities to reflect on and act in ways to ameliorate the inequities as future physicians. Starting tomorrow, check out our weekly Monday posts, and we’ll share some think pieces and discussion questions from SOMA’s Social Medicine Program. We encourage you to reflect and have these discussions with your friends and family.
