Strang Senior Center - West Senior Center

For those of you that still follow this page, because of the explosion and popularity of this Center and it's Inception from about 60 members to near 6000, County Commission has designated Monies to build a brand new multipurpose Center. It has moved into Farragut and now serves the entire west side of the county. Please join us. I have moved home to Florida to be with family, but you all will be in good hands. Thank you for 20 wonderful years.

A shout out to all of you who still look at this page!! I miss you all. I'm living in Florida, and missing so many of you. I'm hoping to come visit in April , so let me know if you are still around!
Yes, I'm still doing pageants, and I will be singing in the upcoming Senior Tennessee pageant in Crossville.

Rest in peace, two of my favorite people of all time. Joe, you made living in Knoxville and working everyday a joy. Wouldn't you know you passed away within a month of my own husband and your friend, Buz. 2020 please go away. Lauren

It's gone. The doors are closed. It is the beginning of a new era for the senior center. It is now in Farragut and the grand opening will be in January. Anybody reading this means you were in the greatest era that could have been for any senior... as the director for almost 20 years, I thank you for the Memories

Waiting to hear about the grand opening of the new center. Long overdue for all of you people who I love and miss. I would love to be there and I hope to see you. Strang was the best center for all of us over 50, fun, friends, and laughter everyday. I am living in Florida and in the middle of a hurricane right now, wishing I were in the calm of Knoxville. So much going on at the center these days....MIracle on the Hudson, Halloween party, Fashion Show by Chico's, Veterans Events, Christmas party, Line Dance hoe down, Makeup & Fashion Day, Tellico Tappers, Live Band Early Bird Special....come on down & join in the fun!
