📢 EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT📢
This month we are recognizing Dee Hurley for her dedication and commitment to the clients at Samaritan Place.
As a Life Skills Coach, Dee consistently goes above and beyond to support clients through some of life’s biggest transitions. 🎉
Recently, Dee has demonstrated exceptional commitment assisting with client move outs, helping ensure individuals and families have the support, encouragement, and resources they need during what can often be a stressful time. 💪
She has also taken a lead role in the aftercare program, helping to strengthen follow-up support and continuity of care once clients transition out of our program. ❤️
While successful move outs are truly a team effort involving many staff members working together, Dee’s willingness to step in, take initiative, and help wherever needed has not gone unnoticed.
Thank you, Dee, for your compassion, teamwork, and commitment to making a difference every day!
Your dedication helps strengthen both our mission and the clients we serve.

🤝DONOR SHOUTOUT🤝
We’re incredibly grateful to Knights of Columbus Council 8781 for their generous donation to support our mission at Catholic Charities of East TN!
Walt Hanson from KoC dropped by our home office to deliver checks from designated fundraisers at St John Neumann that benefit Samaritan Place, Children's Emergency Shelter, and Pregnancy Services.
They raised:
• $1,000 for Samaritan Place
• $1,000 for Children's Emergency Shelter and Assessment Center
• $2,355.77 to make the baby bottle drive tally $14,000
It's generosity like theirs that makes everything we do possible. Thank you for stepping up and making a difference! 🎉

👀🥳The Creators of HOPE Fundraiser is just around the corner on June 11th, and we don't want you to miss it!
Every cent raised that evening goes directly toward our mission to respond to the growing needs of our neighbors. Neighbors across East TN who are in need of food, shelter, counseling, and family support through times of crisis.
It's supporters like you who make that possible!
RSVP today to join us for a casual and enjoyable cocktail-styled event. Expect live entertainment by hot jazz band Kukuly and the Fuego, fine drinks, and unlimited heavy hors d'oeuvres as we celebrate those who make benefiting our most vulnerable neighbors possible. 🎉
Come celebrate how far we've come — and how much further we'll go together on June 11th. Space is limited! RSVP at ccetn.org/events.
