TOMORROW! We look forward to seeing you on Friday and Saturday to celebrate 50 years of community media in Knoxville!

Since our organization started in the basement of a church , we thought it appropriate to kick off our 50th birthday celebration with gospel music. Get your First Friday started early, or just enjoy your lunch with a gospel trio - then stay with us all day for stories, histories, songs, puppets and more!

We will have a batch of these fantastic commemorative shirts designed by at our event this weekend. Thanks much to Ryan for his genius design skills. Also a nod to his involvement in the planning and discovery of the work of . We wouldn’t be presenting his work if it hadn’t been for him.

Thank you to for these amazing posters commemorating our 50th! These will be available for purchase this weekend. We will see you on 6/5-6/6 and for an amazing weekend of stories, histories, archives, puppets and musical performances!

has been here for several weeks creating a sound installation that will be available for viewing, listening and your interaction at during our upcoming 50th birthday celebration on Friday, June 5 & Saturday, June 6. This will be presented before presents a puppet show about TVA accompanied by Knoxville’s Community Gamelon Orchestra.

.lazarus_radio will be performing at around 7:15 p.m. on Friday, June 5 for our 50th birthday celebration .
