We are honored to receive the Preservation Merit Award from Knox Heritage! 👏🧡

This award celebrates the recent renovation of our century-old downtown building, now the Nancy J. Land Center, and home to the Jenny Boyd Keys of Hope program. Throughout the project, we committed to preserve the dignity, history and purpose of a space that has served women for generations.

YWCA Knoxville & the Tennessee Valley leadership attended the East Tennessee Preservation Awards in May, and we thank Knox Heritage for this honor and to Inside of Knoxville for highlighting the recognition.

June 4 marks the 107th anniversary of the 19th Amendment!

We honor the suffragettes who fought for women’s right to vote and celebrate the ongoing work toward equality. YWCA Knoxville & the Tennessee Valley remains committed to advancing justice for all.

Happy Pride! 🌈

June is Pride Month, and at YWCA Knoxville & the Tennessee Valley, we proudly stand with the LGBTQ+ community. Our mission to eliminate racism and empower women includes creating a world where everyone feels safe, valued and celebrated for who they are.

Let’s continue to support and uplift one another, today and every day. 💜

At YWCA Knoxville & the Tennessee Valley, we stand in the fight for justice, freedom and dignity for all. Together, we can create a more inclusive and understanding community.

We prioritize mental health at YWCA Knoxville & the Tennessee Valley both for those we serve and our staff. As an organization that helps survivors of domestic violence, our advocates provide free, trauma-informed support, so that our clients can heal.

What an inspiring 16th Annual Keys of Hope Luncheon! 🧡🔑

We’re so grateful to everyone who attended, sponsored, donated and celebrated with us. Your support empowers the life-changing work our team carries out every day. Every ticket purchased isn’t just a seat at the table, but an opportunity that opens doors for women in need.

From the heartwarming story shared by a past client to a look inside our newly renovated Nancy J. Land Center, the day was filled with gratitude and hope. And a big thank you to our guest speaker, former Knoxville Mayor Madeline Rogero, for her inspiring words.

If you didn’t have a chance to give, there’s still time to make an impact at https://ywcaknox.com/get-involved/donate-now/.
