Yesterday marked the 38th and final HonorAir Knoxville flight. For nearly 20 years, HonorAir has helped thousands of East Tennessee veterans visit the monuments built in their honor. HonorAir Knoxville’s success would not have been possible without Eddie Mannis, his team, and the countless volunteers involved.

I’m very grateful to Timken for the opportunity to tour the Mascot facility. It was impressive to see how the company is driving innovation, particularly in railroad transportation. I also appreciated the chance to meet the hard-working men and women who make this work possible, and I look forward to visiting again soon.
