Who is excited to hear the results of Power of the Purse 2026? 👛✨

This was our largest event ever, and we were blown away by the excitement and generosity of our 600 wonderful attendees who spent their evening shopping, bidding, and supporting Mobile Meals. Thanks to all of you, we raised over $59,000 to provide 14,500 meals and safety checks for homebound seniors in Knox County.

Special thank you to our presenting sponsors, Pilot Flying J, Patricia Nash Designs, and Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance East Tennessee.

Stay tuned for announcements on Power of the Purse 2027! Interested in helping plan and support next year's event? Reach out to [email protected] for more information on our Power of the Purse Committee.

Every weekday morning, university students like Mary Anne set out to deliver Mobile Meals to their homebound neighbors. This semester alone, 130 students have earned over 1,500 community service hours visiting, checking on, and delivering nutritious food to some of the most vulnerable members of our community.

Thank you to University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Pellissippi State Community College, and all of our incredible student volunteers for their continued commitment to service learning.

Do you know a student in need of community service hours? Send them our way! Visit knoxseniors.org for all the info you need.

💐 It’s that time of year again 💐 Thank you to Random Acts of Flowers for preparing hundreds of beautiful arrangements to brighten the day of our senior clients last week! Their Nourish the Soul Initiative makes such a positive impact each year, and we are grateful for their continued support. Check out the flowers in action 🌸

It’s hot out there ☀️ Be sure to check on your older neighbors this weekend!

Extreme heat can be especially dangerous for older adults. A quick check-in with an aging neighbor could make all the difference.
