The Knoxville-Knox County Council on Aging will hold its next meeting on Thursday, June 11, at 2:30 PM here at O’Connor Senior Center!
Join us for an informative presentation on the Medicaid Fraud Control Division (MFCD) and the Safe Senior TN program. Special Agent Chris Trice will explain how MFCD investigates Medicaid provider fraud, patient abuse, neglect, and financial exploitation across healthcare settings including nursing homes, clinics, and pharmacies. The session will also highlight Safe Senior TN resources, including recognizing warning signs of abuse and fraud, as well as guidance on cell phone safety, social media awareness, and Tennessee Silver Alerts. 🤝🕵️♀️📲

REMINDER: Tomorrow is our food distribution event from 10:00am-12:00pm at Lake City Middle, Grand Oaks Elementary and Andersonville Elementary School. This is for all children in Anderson County ages 2-18. Onsite registration will be available.

Cumberland County: Friday 6/12 from 10:00 am until all allotted food is distributed
