🎄✨ Happy Holidays from the 489th Civil Affairs Battalion! ✨🎄
We wish our Soldiers, Families, and loved ones a joyful, peaceful, and well-deserved holiday season. Whether you’re traveling near or far, please do so safely, make smart choices, and take care of one another. Thank you for everything you do—on and off duty. Here’s to rest, laughter, and good memories as we head into the New Year!

Today, on this special Thanksgiving week, we are grateful for more than turkey and family. We celebrate a legacy.

Today marks the 35th anniversary of the U.S. Army Civil Affairs & Psychological Operations Command (Airborne)

For 35 years this unit has stood strong, serving our nation, restoring communities, navigating conflict zones, offering hope, stability and a deeper understanding for countries around the globe.

To the brave Soldiers, dedicated civilian employees, and the families standing behind them: THANK YOU. We honor your sacrifice, your late-night meetings, the sudden moves, the long deployments, and the unspoken burdens carried with quiet courage.

We especially remember those heroes who paid the ultimate price , those who gave all in service to others. Your memory fuels our gratitude and reminds us what true service and love for country look like.

As we gather around our Thanksgiving tables this year, let’s raise a toast to their honor, to the strength of Brotherhood and Sisterhood, to the families who wait patiently at home, and to the enduring spirit of hope that defines this unit.

Here’s to 35 years — and to the bright future ahead. May USACAPOC(A) continue to light the path for peace, understanding, and justice around the world.

With deep respect and gratitude,
From one military family to another. 🇺🇸❤️

🚨 Mission Beyond the Booth! 🚨

Soldiers from HHC, 489th Civil Affairs Battalion proudly represented the Army at Wings on Display in Dayton, TN! 🇺🇸

While many thought it was just a community event, our soldiers gained invaluable real-world training—sharpening their ability to engage with people from all walks of life, honing recruiting skills, and building connections with future leaders.

On top of that, they got hands-on driver’s training with the JLTV and LMTV platforms, reinforcing readiness while showcasing the versatility of today’s Army Civil Affairs soldiers.

👊 One event. Multiple missions. Always ready.
