It goes to show, your vote matters—Spinosaurus overtook Mosasaurus by just 32 votes out of 782! The most notable win belongs to Pterodactyl, who took a pterrific 290-point victory over the infamous Compy!

Voting is open for Round 2 now through June 20. Fill out a ballot at any library location or visit the page at www.knoxcountylibrary.org

Wow! We were so lucky today to have FIVE amazingly talented authors visit the Lawson McGhee Library Children's Room today while they're in town for the Children's Defense Fund National Child Policy Training Institute. We even had the honor of hosting an impromptu one-on-one storytime between E. B. Lewis, Kelly Starling Lyons, and a local patron. Thank you so much for visiting us today, everyone, it was a true joy to meet some of the creative minds that bring inspiring stories to life for kids and families: E. B. Lewis, Kelly Starling Lyons, Carole Weatherford, Winsome Bingham, & Kelly J. Baptist!
