We’re proud to celebrate a changemaker on our UWGK team!
Jennifer Bachmann-Ayers, author of PersonaFlow Leadership™, recently created a guide for leaders focused on building trust, engagement, and a stronger team culture.
As Jennifer shared:
“It means a lot to work somewhere that talks about supporting community and also supports its employees in meaningful ways.”
The team is grateful for Jennifer and the example she sets through her work every day.

350+ pounds of countless sandwiches. 🍞💜
Thank you to Erie Insurance for supporting UWGK Community Schools through a PB&J drive that will help students and families this summer.
When school is out, access to food resources can be a challenge for families.
Donations like this help Community Schools provide additional support when it's needed most.
We’re grateful for partners like Erie who continue to show up for our community.

Last week, members of our Community Schools team joined leaders from across the country at the Institute for Educational Leadership Guiding Lights Conference.
Jennifer Ayers and Kara Strouse presented and learned alongside others who are passionate about supporting students, families, and building stronger communities.
Opportunities like this allow us to share ideas, build connections, and bring new insights back to East Tennessee.
We're grateful for educators, community partners, and leaders across our country who continue to move this work forward.

Across East Tennessee, families are working hard every day to build stability for their children.
Through the East Tennessee Collaborative (ETC), families are supported as they work toward long-term financial stability.
Nearly 2,000 children have benefited from greater stability through their parents’ progress in ETC.
As Jennifer Colbert shared:
“I am showing my kids that poverty is real, but it’s also possible to break free from it.”
